Every night when the baby goes to bed
All of the animals gather round her head
And they sing a little song, and it goes like this:
Goodnight, sleep tight, here's a goodnight kiss
Raggedy Ann is sitting on the right
With her shoe button eyes keeping watch all night
And on her left sits loyal Big Bird
He says, Be quiet now, don't say a word
And all through the night, while the baby is asleep
The teddy bear waits there and doesn't make a peep
And the little cloth horse is standing by
To take baby's dreams up into the sky
