I’ll tell you a secret if you can keep it
It’s something that you’ll want to know
It’s the story of the Little Engine that Could
It’s helped me along, keeping me strong
The engine kept at it when others had had it
And everyone had given in
Just keep plugging away a little every day
And there’s a pretty good chance you’ll win
 
The other part to it, is when you start to do it
Look for help along the way
Everybody has to carry their weight!
Ask for some help, don’t be afraid
Stoke up your engine, harness that tension
Never rush but never stop
It’s an uphill climb, so take your time
It isn’t easy but you’ll reach the top!
 
The little engine stayed right on its track
It tried and tried some more
As its wheels went clickety clack
Inch by inch you’ll move that load ahead
It becomes second nature in time
